The perfect age…

I love all ages, really! But the perfect baby age for pictures is right around 8 months.  Old enough to sit, but not quite big enough to escape!  Here’s a little guy I had today.  He was so happy and smiley, even when he started to yawn!

A little more time…

The mom of these sweet babies is heading back to work shortly.  I remember how that feels.  You always wish you had a little more time.  I’m glad she asked me to photograph these two.  Time goes so quickly!

Fall Families

The weather is finally cooling off.  Pictures outside are at their best with all the colors and good weather.  I’ve gotten a lot of use out of a certain tree in the park lately.  Check out this great looking family who liked climbing for me!

Warming up

It usually takes kids time to warm up to an unfamiliar place.  Getting pictures taken is no exception.  I don’t expect them to jump in front of my camera full of cute smiles and adorable poses. (And then again I’m practically knocked over when someone is!) So when A was here this morning it was no surprise that he needed some time to warm up!

Princess…

What do you do with a princess who doesn’t want to play?

Throw her a tea party, of course!!

Then let her run free, sparkly shoes or no shoes!

And maybe give her some mommy time…
